MCPA Software Ltd was founded in 2003 by the key members of the FACSIMILE for Windows team, originally based at the Harwell laboratories in the UK.
The company has its sole focus on the support and development of FACSIMILE kinetic modelling software.
FACSIMILE is the defacto
standard for modelling complex reaction kinetics with world-wide user bases in areas such as atmospheric chemistry modelling, radiation chemistry and pharmaco-kinetics.
For example, with atmospheric chemistry modelling, the Master Chemical Mechanism (MCM)
(http://mcm.leeds.ac.uk/MCM/)
has been constructed to use the FACSIMILE for Windows software package for numerical integration and sensitivity analysis. The MCM, together with FACSIMILE, has been used extensively for modelling atmospheric processes by hundreds of users.
We currently have distributors in China, Japan, Europe, North America and Australasia.
